circa 1500 ad, weavers in the south netherlands made seven tapestries known as the unicorn tapestries. the seventh is called "the unicorn rests in a garden."
this artwork was subtly woven into uniswap's identity. no announcement. most people at uniswap didn't even know until someone told them in their first week. but with a keen eye you can see its imagery and themes across the entire brand.
the originals hang at the cloisters, the medieval branch of the met. this one rests in its garden on robinhood chain.
